No One Is Safe in the First Teaser for ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5

The beginning of the end for Stranger Things draws near as Netflix unleashes the first teaser for its hit franchise’s return.

Hawkins’ heroes are back in action as Vecna’s Curse expands outside of the Upside Down. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Will (Noah Schapp) will need to outrun the looming threat to save those they love, but will one superpowered girl be enough? Take a look at the edge-of-your-seat thrills in the teaser below for the Duffer Brothers show’s final season:

We hope Max (Sadie Sink) wakes up with abilities of her own because it’s starting to feel like they’re outnumbered—even if the town realizes the dangers of the Demogorgons and their animal ilk. Those flying demobats nearly took Steve (Joe Keery) out and ripped Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) away from us in a guitar solo of glory. Will Nancy and Jonathan’s journalism be enough to rescue them? It definitely seems like they’ll be putting their survival skills to the test.

Stranger Things season five volume one streams November 26. Volume two arrives at Christmas, and the series will culminate in an epic finale on New Year’s Eve.
